Chellberg Farm Festival

In the summer of 2022, I had the opportunity to work with the National Park Service and Indiana Dunes National Park to create a promotional poster for one of Indiana Dune's major events of the year, Chellberg Farm Festival. Originally known as the Apple Fest, Indiana Dunes sought to rebrand the festival to be more focused on the history of Chellberg Farm. Anders and Johanna Chellberg were Swedish immigrants who came to America in 1863, eventually purchasing 40 acres of land in what is now considered Indiana Dunes national park to build a farm.

The family friendly event has multiple seasonal activities for families to participate in such as hayrides, apple-chucking catapults and an apple press. The event allowed visitors to not only spend the day on the historic farm, but also explore the farmhouse and learn a little bit more about this historic home in the Dunes.
